3. und was kann man sonst tun?- was haben die Mönche wohl davon, wenn ich hier den ganzen Tag bei meiner Arbeit mit einem roten T-shirt vorm PC sitze?….

4. Das ist das Problem mit vielen symbolischen Aktionen. Denke, deren Sinn muss jeder selbst beurteilen. Manchmal mag es ja schon ganz nützlich sein, dass man sich selbst und sein Umfeld an etwas erinnert – vielleicht auch, um dann etwas Weitergehendes/Konkreteres zu tun.

   In der Facebook-Gruppe sind dazu eine Menge Vorschläge. Das ist aus meiner Sicht die große Stärke eines solchen Social Networks: Denn es bietet die Möglichkeit, Ideen zu sammeln und zu diskutieren.

   Ich kopiere mal einen kleinen Auszug hierher:

   „1. Protest – Look below for details of worldwide protests.
   2 – Spread the word – Invite your friends to this group, email all your family and friends, write to local newspapers
   3 – Write to your elected official – they will respond if enough people contact them.

Your embassy’s contact info will be on your country’s ministry/department of foreign affairs webpage.
   Use any press or diplomatic contacts you have to pass this message on through the back channels, also.“

   In der Gruppe werden übrigens auch Aktionen aufgelistet, die weltweit von den unterschiedlichsten Gruppen (z.B. amnesty) organisiert werden. Darunter sind Demos, Infoveranstaltungen mit Burmesen etc.
